Categories, actors, event dates and action locations are extracted automatically from news. Coordinates can represent a country or region centroid. This is not a verified incident feed or a real-time battlefield picture.
Time: the window and timeline use GDELT’s indexing time. The separately displayed event date has day-level precision and may refer to historical events. Older dates are hidden by default.
Counts: records and reported source counts are not incident counts, casualty totals or independent corroboration. Air attacks may include missiles; drone attacks cannot be reliably separated by this dataset.
Files are cached in this browser. A seven-day query loads up to 673 small files on first use; progress and any missing files are shown. Exports include only the loaded, filtered records. Coverage remains incomplete while loading or if any files fail.
